Lesson: Triads With A Pedal
Hi and Welcome back to Chord Chemistry. In our last lesson we studied triads with a D pedal tone or drone. We also only used the highest three strings to play the triads. We played D major, D minor, and D diminished triads while the D string was ringing throughout. We also played some seemingly unrelated triads which turned out to be very much related and formed D major7th, D6, and D minor7b5 chords.
In the following lesson we will do exactly as we did with our D pedal but we will use an A pedal and play triads on the D, G, and B strings only. Details
