Who would ever have thought that a bunch of middle-class kids from Hawthorne, California, would wind up as rock stars in one of the greatest and most popular bands of the sixties? When the Beach Boys sang about surf, sand, school, girls and hot rods they made pop history with wave upon wave of radio and album hits. And the sun hasn’t set on the endless summer ever since.
