Step 1: Thanks for signing up for GuitarPort Online!

Existing Line 6 customers who have previously installed GearBox and have a compatible Line 6 interface installed may skip steps 2 and 3 -- just re-launch GearBox and click the Online button.

Step 2: Download the Line 6 GearBox installer package (it includes the USB drivers too).

Visit the download page on line6.com. Use the selections near the top of the page to choose "GearBox" for the Software and choose your computer Operating System for the OS. You can leave the Product selection as "all". Then click the red GO button. The newest version of the GearBox Installer will be listed first. Click the "Get Download" button (you may need to sign in with the username / password from when you signed up). Save it to the desktop of your computer.

Wait until you have received your Line 6 guitar interface before completing this step.

WINDOWS USERS: do not attach the Line 6 guitar interface to the USB port yet.
Double-click the saved file to begin the installation of the GearBox software as well as the USB drivers. You should also install the Line 6 Monkey utility that will help to keep the drivers up to date. The installer will walk you through the installation and it will indicate when to plug in your compatible Line 6 guitar interface.

MAC USERS: attach the Line 6 guitar interface to the USB port before installing the software.

ALL USERS: The light on top of the interface should glow Green to indicate successful operation of the USB drivers and the Line 6 guitar interface.
